Walking into a new setting, especially a new church, can be intimidating. But new experiences can also be energizing and exciting. We hope this introduction can help you navigate smoothly through your first visit to your second. And if ever you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask any one of our friendly church family members, or feel free to contact the church office.
Joining & Membership
While you do not need to be a member of Zion to attend worship or be a part of our congregational life, we would love to welcome you to become a member of our family at Zion.
Membership implies a commitment to this particular congregation and body of Christ. By becoming a member, you agree to attend worship regularly, take part in the bible studies and programs, support the congregation financially, volunteer your time and energy to our worship, educational and service life and pray for this church family, and the church in the world.
If you are interested in joining, the Pastor holds new member classes 3-4 times a year. These classes usually take place for 2 or 3 Sundays after worship. If you are interested, listen for the classes in the announcements, or contact the pastor or church office.
